Thibaud Etienne

University of Montpellier

Thibaud Etienne is an associate professor in the Theoretical Chemistry, Methodologies, Modeling (CTMM) group at the University of Montpellier. He obtained a joint PhD between Belgium (University of Namur) and France (University of Lorraine) in theoretical chemistry in 2015. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Istituto CNR di Scienze e Tecnologie Molecolari in Perugia for one year before joining the CTMM group in 2016. His research interests mainly lie in the area of quantum molecular science, more particularly the theoretical modeling of electronic excited states and the topological description of photoinduced molecular electronic transitions. In 2016 he was awarded the Gaston Berthier Award from the French Theoretical Chemistry Network for his PhD.
