Laurent Micouin

Laurent Micouin was born in Clermont Ferrand (France) in 1968. He did his undergraduate studies at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris and University Pierre et Marie Curie and his PhD in the laboratory of Professor Henri-Philippe Husson under the guidance of Dr. J.-C. Quirion. After a post-doctoral stay in Marburg under the direction of Professor Paul Knochel, he got a permanent position in CNRS in 1996 and turned back to Paris (Faculty of Pharmacy, Paris Descartes University). He became Directeur de recherche in 2005 and moved in 2012 to the Faculty of Basic and Biomedical Sciences to join the Laboratory of Chemistry and Biochemistry (LCBPT, UMR 8601 CNRS Paris Descartes University).
